Guoweixing: Important Guidelines for the Safe Transportation and Storage of Polycarbonate Sun Panels and Solid Sheets

Guoweixing's hollow sheet and solid sheets have the advantages of high light transmittance, impact strength, excellent outdoor weather resistance, easy installation, light weight, etc. They are widely used in construction, agriculture, indoor partitions, awnings, carports and other industries. Here we focus on the transportation and storage of PC hollow sheet and solid sheets.

When transporting and storing PC hollow sheet or solid sheets, they should be operated correctly according to the instructions to avoid scratching or damaging the edges of the panels. PC sheets must be carefully placed during transportation, and the carriage should be kept clean. To prevent scratches and folds on the edges of the panels and the protective film, the four corners should be wrapped with paper or cloth strips. During transportation, paper should be placed under the panels to prevent scratches on the panel surface. There are protective films on the top and bottom of the panels. When transporting and installing, the side of the panel containing the UV protective layer should face the sun. Do not remove the protective film before installation to prevent scratches and scratches on the surface of the panel. When storing PC panel, they should be placed in a cool place indoors to avoid long-term storage in direct sunlight and places where rain may fall. The room should be kept dry, ventilated, clean and dust-free. The stacked panels should be sealed to prevent dust from falling into the panels and moisture in the air from condensing in the panels. Also, be careful not to contact the cement floor directly to avoid corrosion of the panels. And the room temperature should not exceed 40℃.

Storage state1---vertical storage:
When storing vertically, the PC panels should be close to each other and maintain a 10-degree tilt angle. The total thickness of a pile of panels should be less than 30cm.

Storage state 2--flat storage:
If possible, try to place PC panels of the same size 30 cm above the ground without touching the ground. If the PC boards to be stacked are of different sizes, stack the larger size boards at the bottom. If possible, the protective film should be removed during the installation and processing of the PC board and the acceptance work.

Precautions for protection of the protective film: The protective film used on the sun panel will not be easy to remove if stored in a place exposed to direct sunlight for more than three months. Special attention should be paid. If the PC sheets are stored for too long in an environment with a temperature exceeding 60℃, the protective film on the board will not be easy to remove. Special attention should be paid.
